The 8th Annual CMT Music Awards Results

Last night on CMT, the 8th Annual CMT Music Awards honored Taylor Swift with Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year for "Love Story." To give back to the community and promote volunteerism, CMT One Country will make a charitable donation on behalf of each winner. Taylor Swift selected the American Red Cross organization, which provides relief for disaster victims worldwide.

Brad Paisley won Male Video of the Year for "Waitin' on a Woman," in addition to praise for his efforts in Collaborative Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year. Three donations will be made on Paisley's behalf to The Shjon Podein Children's Foundation, also called Team25, an organization that aims to better the lives of children who face significant hardships. Wide Open Country Video of the Year went to Kid Rock for "All Summer Long," and Zac Brown Band won USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year for "Chicken Fried."
