DirecTV Offers ScoreGuide

Today, El Segundo-based DirecTV revealed ScoreGuide, the ultimate navigation tool for sports fans. This new, multi-channel on-screen feature allows fans to enjoy the latest sports scores, while providing instant access to games.

By pressing the red button on your remote, DirecTV subscribers with advanced receivers can access ScoreGuide – the latest on-screen service included with DirecTV’s leading TV program guide. Available beginning April 27, ScoreGuide allows sports fans to track the start times and scores of major sports events. Subscribers will can view a list of sports events, categorized according to channel, and tune instantly to those programs.

ScoreGuide users will view a discrete on-screen graphic, indicating the service is active. Take advantage of ScoreGuide with over 200 DirecTV sports channels from national cable networks, sports subscription channels (700-799), and regional sports networks.

Provided at no additional cost, DirecTV’s ScoreGuide offers a list of various sports events in progress, in addition to imminent events – both daily and weekly. ScoreGuide makes viewing sports events easy, by allowing subscribers to instantly access each channel with the push of a single button!

ScoreGuide is very flexible and convenient. It can be left open, so that viewers can track various games. It can also be minimized to display one game at a time. Daily events are updated frequently, and weekly events are updated on Thursdays.
