ESPN Analyst Steve Phillips And Brooke Hundley Affair Covered Non-Stop!
First Letterman, now…Steve Phillips (as in, the ESPN baseball commentator) is embroiled in an “affair gone wrong” scenario? I flipped on the satellite this morning and all I can see is sat feeds of the latest drama: Apparently Phillips had an affair with Brooke Hundley, a 22 year old staff assistant at ESPN (where Phillips is a commentator, for you non-satellite subscribers), and when he attempted to break things off Hundley went crazy.
Okay, I’m all for my satellite TV stations being entrenched in scandalous affair stuff—why do you think I subscribed to their high-speed satellite Internet too?—but do we really need nonstop coverage of the Phillips/Brooke Hundley scandal? Schadenfreude is great, but only in small doses. The only upside to this is I’ve been given a Jon & Kate reprieve for the next few hours of satellite television viewing. Thank goodness for that, I guess.
