DIRECTV gives you 100% digital-quality viewing. You'll get consistent crystal-clear picture and sound on all your favorite programs. Digital cable is usually a combination of digital and analog channels, it's not 100% digital.

DIRECTV keeps you in touch with your local happenings. For customers with HD-ready television, you can watch your local programs in high-definition with our off-air antenna option. There's no monthly fee to obtain local channels from the top broadcast networks in your area.

DIRECTV brings you affordable high-speed DSL Internet service through our partnerships with Verizon, BellSouth and Qwest. DSL uses a dedicated connection, so you aren't slowed down by additional users surfing the web. Cable modems don't use dedicated connections and often cost more than our DSL service.

DIRECTV Digital Video Recorder (DVR) lets you record, pause and rewind live programming. DIRECTV DVR puts you in control of when and what you watch. Cable's best imitation, Video on Demand, only allows you to select from the programming they have in their VOD library. DIRECTV gives you more variety and more control.

You get DIRECTV DVR service for only $5.99 per month-we don't charge equipment rental fees. When you sign up for the TOTAL CHOICE PREMIER package, you get DIRECTV DVR service free of charge. Many cable companies charge high monthly rental fees for DVR equipment and tack on an additional monthly DVR service fee. DIRECTV keeps things simple-you watch what you want to watch at an affordable price.

If you want sports, our exclusive NFL SUNDAY TICKET package has you covered. We aired more than 140 NFL SUNDAY TICKET games in high-definition last season. If you are a sports fanatic in general, DIRECTV also offers 8 sports subscription packages to keep you cheering all year round. DIRECTV gets you in the game.

DIRECTV products such as HD systems and DIRECTV DVR are immediately available nationwide. Cable generally introduces new products in one market or region. So, depending on your location, you may not have access to high-definition or DVR services. With DIRECTV you get it all up front.
