Did Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas really attack Perez Hilton? Last night, the gossip blogger alerted his online followers via Twitter that he'd been assaulted in Toronto after attending the MuchMusic Awards. Since the altercation, both parties have released videos on the Internet to share their side of the story. Apparently Will.i.am did not appreciate the comments that Perez posted on his blog, www.perezhilton.com, but Will.i.am denied the accusation that he resorted to physical violence against Perez.

Last night on CMT, the 8th Annual CMT Music Awards honored Taylor Swift with Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year for "Love Story." To give back to the community and promote volunteerism, CMT One Country will make a charitable donation on behalf of each winner. Taylor Swift selected the American Red Cross organization, which provides relief for disaster victims worldwide.

During last Tuesday's episode of "Late Night" on CBS, David Letterman made 'sexist insults' about Sarah Palin's teenage daughter(s). I use parenthesis because there has been some discrepancy in knowing exactly which daughter was targeted during Letterman's Top Ten list. Although it was Palin's now 18-year-old daughter, Bristol, who delivered a child this year, the Alaska Governor inferred that Letterman's remarks were aimed at her 14-year-old daughter, Willow. Since Willow is underage, these comments have created quite a stir in both entertainment and news television programming. Palin supporters nationwide have advocated for Letterman's termination, and held a protest in New York City yesterday afternoon. Perhaps that is why the late night comedian issued an official apology?
