What channel is Max on DIRECTV?
Max (formerly HBO Max) does not have a dedicated channel on DIRECTV. Instead, it’s available as a streaming service that you can access through the Max app on smart devices, streaming players, or through the DIRECTV app.
However, if you have a Max subscription through DIRECTV, you can watch HBO channels, which are included with Max, on the following DIRECTV channel numbers:
HBO (East): Channel 501
HBO 2 (East/West): Channels 502-503
HBO Signature: Channel 504
HBO Comedy: Channel 506
HBO Zone: Channel 508
To stream Max content, log in with your DIRECTV credentials on the Max app or Max website.
